Hoffman, NC:  Glenmeadow Golden Wish (Kinzighausen Golden Mortimer x Ledgewood Greystone Desiree) and owner /rider Kim Harrison of Virginia were Level 3 TREC champions at the fall TREC competition in North Carolina. They covered the 17 kilometer orienteering portion of the event with a score of 223/240 and a earned 145 out of 160 points in the obstacle portion.

The score for the "mastery of gait" portion was a very poor 2 points due to excessive friskiness at the canter on the chilly morning, and Wish attempting to leave the course during the walk portion of the test when she fell madly in love with a handsome mule observing from the sideline! Their total score was still good enough to earn the high score in their level and they came home with a lovely tray and a basket of apples. You may notice Wish is missing her right eye (due to a melanoma) but she can still "do it all." photo by Kim Stoddard
